🔇 Mzansi Audio Ducker

A tiny Chrome extension that silences YouTube / Spotify / other tabs while Mzansi makes a TTS match announcement, then unmutes them when the announcement finishes.

Install on the central PC

  1. Click the download button above and save the file
  2. Right-click the downloaded ZIP → Extract All (or unzip however you like)
  3. Open Chrome and go to chrome://extensions/
  4. Toggle Developer mode ON (top right corner)
  5. Click Load unpacked and pick the folder you just extracted
  6. That's it — open the Social Day app in another tab to verify. Console will log [Mzansi TTS Ducker] installed once.
Permissions: the extension only asks for tabs (to mute/unmute) and only runs on Mzansi pages. It never reads tab contents or sends any data anywhere.
Safety: if the announcement crashes mid-speech, the extension auto-unmutes after 60 seconds so your music isn't left silent.
